I was woken up by our youngest whimpering in her sleep.
I gave her my finger to hold, and she calmed down and
went back to sleep. Then this came to me:

**I cannot hold the world,**  
**but I can hold a hand.**  
**I may not be able to defeat the enemy,**  
**but I can hug a friend.**  
**This little that I have,**  
**I will not let it go to waste.**
